Privacy Policy — SoftSweep Cleaner

This policy explains what SoftSweep Cleaner collects, what it does not, and what happens with it. The app is published by AINA S.R.L. ("we", "us"). It matches the privacy declaration shown on our App Store product page.

The short version. Your photos, videos and contacts are not collected, not uploaded and not shared. What we do collect is how the app is used, whether it crashes, and the fact that you have a subscription. None of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

What we do not collect

Your photos and videos. The app reads your library on the device to find duplicates, similar items, screenshots and large files. That analysis happens on your iPhone. No image or video is sent to us.
Background removal. Processed on your device. The photo does not leave it.
Video compression. Performed on your device. The file is not uploaded.
Your contacts. Read on the device to find duplicate or incomplete entries. Not transmitted to us.
Anything in Secret Space. It stays on the device.
Your name, email or phone number, unless you write to us yourself.
Your location.
Advertising identifiers. The app does not request permission to track you and does not collect the identifier iOS uses for advertising.

What we do collect

This data is linked to an identifier associated with your installation of the app. It is not used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Who processes it

Apple: Handles all payments and subscriptions. We never see your card details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that part.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

Permissions the app asks for

Photos: To show you your library so you can review and organise it. Without it the main features cannot work.
Contacts: Only if you use the contacts feature. Declining leaves the rest of the app fully usable.
Notifications: Optional. Used for app messages, never for advertising.

You can change any of these at any time in Settings, in the section for SoftSweep Cleaner.

How long it is kept

Usage and diagnostic data are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated so that individual installations can no longer be distinguished. Purchase records are kept as long as they are needed for accounting and tax obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to processing, or to receive a copy. Write to information@ainasrl.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Deleting the app stops all further collection. To have data already collected removed, email us and say so.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Data outside your country

Our service providers may process data in countries other than the one you live in. Where that involves a transfer out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it is made under the safeguards permitted by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will also be shown in the app.
